Olga KalmanShe is a well-known TV personality in Hungary: news editor and director, reporter, journalist, television host and author. She started her carrier in the main Hungarian Television in 1994 as a television host for political programs, and beside that she was news anchor too. From 1999 she was also anchorman in radios. Until recently she was the host of ATV's Straight Talk (Egyenes Beszéd). She is author of the book Straight Talk. She has received multiple awards during her career including the János Déri award for lifetime achievement and the Hungarian Spokesman Organization's award. A civil engineer by profession, and is CEO of her own company but thanks to her co-author Peter Tarjanyi, she also has military and police training. Their first joint effort was ‘The Balkans’ Angels’, a two-part historical thriller, released in the US to critical acclaim. He started his career in the Military Police, which he left for the Special Service of the Police Force in 1991, where he worked in various posts as commander, before heading up the Operations Section and then the Special Section. After his retirement from active service, with a wealth of professional expertise and long experience, he worked for the FBI Academy – National Training Centre on the preparation of several military and police deployments in theaters of war. He was involved with a SWAT team during the conflict in the Balkans. Since 1999 he has worked in the private sector as executive and owner of IT, financial and real estate consultancy businesses. He is a well-known expert on national security in Hungary, who often appears in the media. Most of the action novel authors are just traveling around the world, sitting in coffee shops and finally they start to hit the keyboard… It is different with Tarjanyi.
